It’s December 2017 and I just published my first book, Come Back Strong, Balanced Wellness after Surgical Menopause, now available on Amazon.
Many of you may be wondering what’s next.
Well, aside from marketing my book and spreading the word about it, and, getting ready to dig into writing the next book, I’m creating a course centered around the content of my book.
It’s actually a mini-course, Bite-Size Online Courses. It was released at the end of March 2018.
As course authors, we meet by webinar every couple of weeks and our guide teaches us how to build a mini online course.
At our last meeting, the webinar was titled Know Your Purpose.
This course is not about me and all that I know and all that I’ve learned about surviving and thriving past surgical menopause.
It’s about putting people in the hero’s journey and helping them to accomplish something. It’s about helping women who have had a hysterectomy or are struggling with menopause to understand that they are their own heroes. They can empower themselves to take steps toward balanced wellness. They can give themselves permission to live a life of true health, love, laughter, and freedom.
In developing a course, or writing a book for that matter, many people start with an outline. A better starting point is to define why you are here.
So, why am I here?
Why do I want to teach an online course?
I am here to SERVE. I am here to INSPIRE. Specifically, in this course (as was true for my book) my goal is to inspire women experiencing sudden, abrupt menopause to return – not to the life they once knew, but to a better life.
Why is my audience here?
Whether it is someone reading my book or someone who enrolls in my class, why are they here? When it’s over, what do I want them to think? Say? Feel? Do?
What do I want my audience to THINK:
If I practice these wellness tips with consistency I’ll feel better.
What do I want my audience to SAY:
If she can come back strong after surgical menopause, I can too!
What do I want my audience to FEEL:
That there is HOPE, not just to feel good,
but to feel AMAZING after surgical menopause.
What do I want my audience to DO:
Enroll in my course. Buy my book. Stay connected so we can continue to build a relationship and learn from each other and help more women to feel good in their mind, heart, and body after surgical menopause.
